Safe Digital Learning. Offline by Design

Bringing Education to the World

Freedom Tablet International Ltd. (FTI) is the international development and partnership company within the IDEA Group ecosystem. Working with governments, ministries of education, humanitarian organizations, NGOs and strategic partners, FTI transforms IDEA’s educational technology, intellectual property and learning platforms into secure, purpose-built solutions for communities around the world.

Rather than simply supplying technology, FTI develops long-term partnerships that help countries strengthen education, preserve culture, expand language learning and improve access to knowledge.

Safe Digital Learning. Offline by Design.

Unlike conventional tablets, the Freedom Tablet was designed specifically for education. Operating in a controlled offline environment, it can deliver approved educational content without unrestricted internet access, social media, advertising, unknown contacts or open app stores.

Built upon IDEA’s educational systems and supported by EduConnect™, Freedom Tablets can be securely updated, customized and managed while preserving control over approved content. The platform can support national curricula, digital libraries, language preservation, literacy, life skills, civic education and community-specific learning programs through a common modular architecture.

Global Partnerships

Every country has unique educational priorities, languages, cultures and infrastructure. FTI works collaboratively with national and regional partners to develop localized solutions that respect existing curricula, celebrate local identity and support long-term educational goals.

A relationship may begin with a national education initiative, digital library, humanitarian program, Presentation Tablet or another specific need. The underlying Freedom platform can then be adapted and expanded as the partnership develops.

FTI’s approach is built on partnership rather than prescription.

Humanitarian Impact

Education is often one of the first services disrupted by conflict, disaster and displacement. Through the Freedom ecosystem, FTI supports humanitarian initiatives designed to restore access to learning where traditional educational infrastructure has been damaged, interrupted or cannot easily reach.

Offline-first technology allows educational resources to travel with the learner and continue functioning where dependable internet or cellular infrastructure does not exist.

Building Sustainable Capacity

FTI believes lasting impact comes through local ownership. Governments, educational institutions and regional organizations bring their curriculum, languages, culture, educators and understanding of their communities. IDEA and the Freedom ecosystem provide the educational systems, technology, localization capabilities and tools to help bring those resources to learners.

The objective is not simply to deliver tablets. It is to build sustainable educational capacity around knowledge, culture and learning.
